Weekly event hosted @ The Broke and the Bookish
I don't re-read a lot, although I would like to, as there are many worlds and characters I would love to visit again.
If I was to find the time to re-read, these are the books I would love to read.
Outlander by Diana Gabaldon
The Chronicles of Narnia by C. S. Lewis
Watership Down by Richard Adams - it's about bunnies!
The Riftwar Saga by Raymond E. Feist
The Farseer and Tawny Man trilogies by Robin Hobb
The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings
Anything by Neil Gaiman
And of course, Harry Potter.
I am looking forward to seeing what books other people love so much that they must read them again.
I didn't put it on my list but YESSSS I really need to reread the Narnia series. That was a fave as a kid. I wonder how I would view it NOW. Definitely think I need to get to it! THis isn't about re-reading because I haven't read them but I REALLY need to read Outlander!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely! You do need to read Outlander, it is fab. I like the idea of rereading childhood faves to see what we think of them as adults. If only I had the time.
DeleteAhh I still need to read Outlander for the first time! But YES to HP! This is a must reread for me :)

I envy you getting to read Outlander for the first time, enjoy!
DeleteYou have many of my favorites on your list! Thankfully I just finished re-reading Harry Potter last week so I can focus on some new re-reads. :)

I have the new Bloombury editions on my wishlist, so I am waiting till I get those to reread, I can't wait.
DeleteI need to read more Gaiman. I have only read one of his books so far!
ReplyDeleteSacrilage! Only one Gaiman book. I kid, but you do have a lot to look forward too.
DeleteOf course Harry Potter! I just got copies of The Chronicles of Narnia at a thrift shop so I definitely need to reread those. I do still need to read Outlander though, also got that thrifting so I can check it out now too! Great list
ReplyDeleteCassi @ My Thoughts Literally
Harry Potter, I think, is a given. I can't believe that so many people haven't read Outlander yet, it's sooo good. I hope you enjoy it.
DeleteNarnia and LotR are two that I've thought about rereading lately... and Robin Hobb's books too, since the new Fitz book is out. I really liked Feist's series as a youngster, I wonder how it would read now... hmm. Good list, lots of favorites on here. :)
ReplyDeleteIf only there were more hours in a day, or jobs and school didn't take up so many of the hours we do have.
