It's Monday! What Are You Reading? (7/4/14)

A weekly meme hosted by Sheila @ Book Journey

What I am Currently Reading:

WarBreaker by Brandon Sanderson
I am listening to this on audiobook borrowed from my library via OneClickDigital. I haven't listened to an audiobook in a long time, hopefully I will find the time for it. This will be the second Sanderson book I have read, the first being SteelHeart which I quite enjoyed.
Have you read any Brandon Sanderson? What did you think?
What's your experience/opinion on audiobooks?

The Serpent of Venice by Christopher Moore
This is the first funny book I have read in a long time. It's also my first Christopher Moore book.  Have you read Christopher Moore? Any suggestions of his other books I should try if I like this one?

What I Plan to Read this Week:

This week I plan to get all of these library books read and read them I will.

What are reading and what do you plan to read this week?

  1. All of Christopher Moore's books are wacky. If you like this one, you should choose something else of his.

    1. Thanks Joy. It seems that Cress will be the first book I read out of my library pile.

  5. I have not read Sanderson but have heard good things. And the Veronica Rossi series seems quite popular as well. Happy reading!

  6. I have not read any of Brandon Sanderson's books yet but I've heard nothing buy AMAZING things about them. So now I have this weird obsession where I have to collect all of his books. If I see it at the bookstore I will pick it up, that way when I go to read one of his books, I'll have it! LOL
    I hoard books now, apparently!

    1. No, you are not a hoarder but simply a collector. Do you get the US or UK covers? I think the UK covers are beautiful and definitely worth collecting.
