It's Monday! What I'm Reading (21/4/14)

A weekly meme hosted by Sheila @ Book Journey

What I read recently:

I gave up on Panic, it just didn't grab me, I don't know if its the book or if I just am not in the mood for contemporary.
Ember, I actually quite enjoyed, I also read (well, skimmed really) Ember-X, which is exactly the same except for the sex scenes where in Ember its just kissing or near kissing. I do want to read the next book, Cinder or Cinder-X, either one, depending what mood I am in ;-)
Into The Darkness was just weird, fun weird, but weird.

What I am currently reading:

I did expect much from this as I bought it as a Kindle freebie last year, but I am actually enjoying it. The two main characters are really well drawn, especially the female, Annabelle, she is a strong kick-ass, young woman and I really love her interactions with the ice cold (but smoking hot) Zacharel.
Yep, I am still listening to this when I can.

I am hoping to start running (again) and I need a little inspiration to get started, so far this is definitely inspiring.

What I plan to read next:

This will be my first foray into steampunk and I hope it is as fun as it looks.
I was contacted by the author to read this book for review and while the cover may be horrid, from the synopsis it looks fun and I am quite looking forward to it.
I bought this on impulse in January because Shakespeare and Star Wars, how cool is that? And that cover is just fabulous.

Have you read any of these? What did you think?
How goes your reading this week?

    1. I am liking it but I am getting to the point where I feel it is longer than it needs to be.

      Have a great week

  2. I loved both Bloodlines and Soulless. I read Panic and found it to be a satisfying story but extremely harsh. Come see what I read last week. Happy reading!
